Genshin Impact: Farewell to the Past, Continue the Pursuit Guide

Farewell to the Past is a mission that was added to the game with the release of the 2.5 Update. It starts off by telling players to keep going. This order is accompanied by a waypoint that designates a position on Narukami Island’s north shore. Fans may be puzzled about how to proceed after they arrive there. This guide will send players in the appropriate route and assist them in completing the quest.

Farewell to the Past

In Farewell to the Past, players must follow a trail of blue lines that leads to an entrance on the beach to the southwest. The first of these sequences is located near three beacons on the southwest side of the initial search region.

Players will acquire an updated waypoint as they reach it. Fans should then continue heading southwest, where they will come across another set of streaks as they approach a cliff with a view of the beach.

Players should now jump off that ledge, deploy their Wind Gliders in Genshin Impact. Fly down to the beach below, and follow the trail southwestwards until they reach the alcove. 

Continue the Pursuit

Players will be watching a short cutscene as they enter the alcove, and the Farewell to the Past quest goal will update once complete. However, there should be no question about how to approach this new objective, as it is so clear in its instructions. Apart from one that is provided towards the midway of this Genshin Impact quest, all of the objectives that follow the “continue the pursuit” job are quite straightforward to complete.

The next objective revolves upon entering the cave beneath the Grand Narukami Shrine. There is a difficulty in this area that players will be unable to enter the cave due to a barrier. Fortunately, players can summon an Electrogranum on the small floating island right above the cave entrance, bypassing the barrier and continuing on with the Farewell to the Past quest.
