Forza Horizon 5: New Year Accolades Guide

Forza Horizon is full of exciting challenges, with even more exciting rewards behind them. With the New Year, three New Year Accolades have been introduced. They have been introduced along with Series 3. In fact, the New Year Accolades were already available but locked behind Series 3. Moreover, with the beginning of Series 3, the Holiday Accolades from Series 2 are no longer available.

A total of 1,100 Accolade points are available for the taking. In addition, the Camo Utility Epic Trousers are also part of the rewards. The New Year Accolades are:

• Happy New Year!: 50 Accolade points
• Another One Lights the Dust: 50 Accolade points and Camo Utility Epic Trousers
• Series 3 Collector: 1000 Accolade points

1. Happy New Year!

Any car can be used to complete this Accolade. It can be completed by

• Drive into Guanajuato in the Happy New Year series
• Find red Chinese lanterns
• The lanterns can be found easily, especially near the Cathedral

2. Another One Light the Dust

• Destroy 25 lanterns using either the 2016 Toyota AT37 or the 2014 Toyota AT38.
• AT37 can be found in Autumn, and AT38 can be found in Winter during Series 3 only
• Both AT37 and AT38 are not easy to acquire. They are both 45-point rewards in their seasons, so players will need to get a lot of seasonal challenges done

3. Series 3 Collector Accolade

Players will have to acquire all exclusive reward cars from Series 3 to complete this Accolade. This is done by acquiring points in each of the seasons, or in the entire series. This will require a lot of playtime. If players miss any of the cars, the Auction House will provide them. However, this will cost players.  The cars and the ways to acquire them are listed below:

• 2016 Zenvo TS1 – Series 3 reward for earning 120 points
• 2015 Jaguar XKR-S – Spring reward for earning 25 points
• 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 – Series 3 reward for earning 120 points
• 1989 Lotus Carlton – Spring reward for earning 45 points
• 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 – Autumn reward for earning 45 points
• 2014 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38 – Winter reward for earning 45 points
• 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I – Summer reward for earning 45 points
• 2013 D8 Donkervoort GTO – Autumn reward for earning 25 points
