The current collaboration between Final Fantasy 14 and Fall Guys brings a unique and entertaining event that runs until the end of 2023. In this guide, I’ll take you through the event, offering a step-by-step walkthrough and highlighting the exciting rewards you can earn.
Getting Started
To start the event, make sure you can reach the Gold Saucer by attaining at least level 15 and unlocking Airship travel.
Check out this video below on how to get to the Gold Saucer:
Unlocking the FFXIV x Fall Guys Event
Visit the Gold Saucer entrance Square and locate Lewena. She’ll present you with the “Just Crowning Around” quest, unlocking the event and guiding you to Wonder Square, which provides entry to the new Blunderville Square area in the Gold Saucer.
Exploring Blunderville Square
In Blunderville Square, you’ll find the Blunderville Registrar, where you can sign up for Blunderville courses either solo or with friends. Participating in these courses will earn you Manderville Gold Saucer Fame (MGF) points and regular Gold Saucer points.
MGF Trader
On the opposite side of the square, talk with the MGF Trader to exchange your points for prizes and keep track of your current balance.
Courses Details
Check out five unique courses, each featuring three elimination rounds. Courses include:
- Round 1: Gentle Beans Fever or Manderville-Can Parade.
- Gentle Beans Fever and Manderville Can Parade are linear obstacle course races.
- Round 2: Saucery Siege or The Gold Swiveler.
- Saucery Siege involves transporting colored crystals to matching colored goals(crystal colors will be random). You need to deliver three (3) crystals to advance to the next round.
- The Gold Swiveler is a lap-based obstacle course where avoiding wind blasts is crucial. There is no need to finish first but to stay patient and make sure you don’t fall off.
- Final Round: Manderville Mountain
- A classic race to the end, but only one player wins the race.
Achievements
Successfully completing courses will unlock achievements, with the final one granting a unique title after winning 100 races.
