Start traveling east of Limgrave, towards Caelid. On the northeastern side of the Summon Water Village Outskirts, follow the pathway. Make your way to The Abandoned Cave, which is located in the Caelid and Dragonbarrow.
To go to this cave, go east to the Smoldering Wall Site Of Grace. You’ll walk through some dead trees and come face to face with several demonic hounds along the road. From there, make your way northeast up the hill, then east.
Following the fiery wall, you’ll come to a fallen tree dangling over a ravine on the ledge of the hill.
To go across, use this tree as a bridge. This tree branch will bring you inside to the cave entrance, which has a Site of Grace.
Before proceeding farther into the cave, activate the Site of Grace.
Be cautious, since there will be numerous Scarlet Rot pools and poisonous opponents to deal with. Your rot meter will rise if you stand in one of the rot pools.
Abandoned Cave
- IMPORTANT NOTE: You can purchase Boluses before entering this cave. All you have to do is to go to this area shown in the photo below and grab some.
- These boluses help ease and or remove rot.
Go down the cave then turn left twice.
Continue on inside the tunnel until you reach a ledge, where you should jump down and roll to the right.
It is guarded by two shamans, so this jump is tricky.
After the jump is a tunnel. Straight ahead, you’ll find yourself in a room full of toxic flowers.
Climb the debris on the right side of the tunnel.
Cleanrot Knights – BOSS FIGHT
Cleanrot knights are easy bosses to kill.
Just beware of the large pool of Scarlet Rot in the boss pit.

How To Use
- This Talisman can be worn by going to your equipment menu and selecting it.
- When you wear this Talisman, you will receive Bonus Runes by killing foes with a significant increase in amount of 20%.
- Example:
- 1000 runes obtained x 20% = 200 Bonus
- 1000 + 200 = 1,200 Runes in Total
