After a short cutscene and grabbing the power source that you need to use on the train, you’ll find yourself in a new area with new sets of puzzles! Here’s our guide for Daydream: Forgotten Sorrow’s Toy Factory Puzzle.

Swing Achievement
Head east until you find a swing. Birly will sit on it, and you can push him to get an achievement!
Toy Factor Puzzle
- Push the box north. Next, turn the crank so the suction is on the box. Command Birly to go over to the other side and let him stay there.
- Jump on top of the box and command Birly to pull the switch. This will transport you to the other side of the gate.
- Push the box to the east. You’ll need it to solve the next puzzle. After you reach the edge, jump on top of the box and the giant robot. Next, task the archer to shoot at the robot’s right eye, then stand and jump on the yellow button.
- Once the mechanical hand drops down, quickly command Birly to grab on it so it takes him to the top with you. Drop down to the edge and grab Birly. Throw him across the air duct, and he will open the door for you.
Fireworks Room Puzzle
- Head north of the room until you see a block with a crocodile paint design. Jump on and push the other half so you can use it to climb a bit higher. The red cloth should be your hint on what to do next.
- Grab on the metal pipe and then command Birly to go towards the fireworks. Do this twice so that you have two of those explosives.
- Place the first firework near the heat source. This will cause it to explode and expose a fire source. Next, place the second firework next to the signage and command the girl to aim.
Inside the Factory
Once you reach the factory, grab Birly, throw him towards the hanging platform, and command him to pull the lever on the other side. Ensure you pull the lever on your side first so the platform on the other side will lock in place.
Coal Factory Puzzle
- Birly and the girl will jump onto the steel cart in the coal mine puzzle. Use the ladder to climb back down. All you need to do is push your two companions to your east without burning yourself to death.
- The first step is to make sure that you move the cart to the first lock on the floor right after the fire blaze. Hide behind the metal pot and wait for the next fire blaze.
- Next, push the cart towards the end again and then, depending on your timing, you can climb up the moving mechanism to make your way back up to the top. Now all that’s left to do is cross the platform and pull down both switches.
Wooden Blocks
Push the wooden block encased in a net to your east and use it to boost yourself up. Then, grab the cloth hanging from the boxes to move on to the next area. Drop down as soon as you see the pillar with fire.
