In this area, 2 lamps with handles function as switches. Pulling them down activates stone blocks allowing you to cross. You can try this out by hopping and pulling a handle on one of the eastern lamps.
- To solve this, go to the western part of the map. Here, you’ll see a metal grate adjacent to a candle.
- Raise this grate and instruct Birly to go inside. Then, lower the grate and have Birly pull down the handle of the second switch on the other side. Subsequently, return to the first switch and pull it down.
Remember that the first stone block will start descending as soon as you let go of the handle, so promptly Sprint (L-Shift) and cross the area.
Stone Statue Puzzle
- For the Stone Statue Puzzle, your task is to find a missing hand winch to adjust the statue correctly. The hand winch is visible when you rotate the one on the left.
- The missing piece can be found on the hand of the stone statue. Direct Birly to fetch it or climb the statue yourself by jumping up the leg and then to the statue’s left side.
Once you have the hand winch, attach it to the right post and command Birly to rotate it while you handle the other one. This action reveals a passageway leading to your next destination.
Broken Staircase
- The following set of puzzles, involving a Broken Staircase, is relatively simple. Just slide the switch to the other end and ask Birly to pull down the rope to secure the stairs in place.
- Ensure you carry and throw Birly onto the last set of broken stairs, as he can’t jump that high. After climbing the stairs, you’ll encounter your next puzzle.
How to Open Locked Tower Door
- Push the wooden cart closer to the hay on the floor to open the Locked Tower Door. Then, lift Birly and assist him onto the cart.
- Once he’s positioned, jump and grab the rope, allowing Birly to cross. Wait for the plank to be fully lowered before ordering Birly to cross, or he will simply jump down.
- Next, direct him to push the box at the edge. This reveals a bottle you can pick up and hurl at the glass window.
- Pick up Birly and throw him into the newly formed entryway. He will handle the task of opening the door for you.
