Multiplayer free-to-play RPG, Destiny 2 recently received a major expansion called Lightfall which continues the Light and Dark saga. Like every other expansion, this one also arrives with brand new content like a new city, a subclass, and multiple new exotic items.
Among these exotic items mentioned above, Cyrtarachne’s Facade is a new head armor made just for the Hunter character class. Additionally, this new armor also provides more utility to the new Strand subclass which has been added with Lightfall.
Thus, this article will be guiding on how you can get your own Cyrtarachne’s Facade in Destiny 2 Lightfall.
Destiny 2 Lightfall: How to get Cyrtarachne’s Facade?
Destiny 2 Lightfall offers three new armor pieces for the game’s different classes. However, you can only obtain them by completing the Lightfall campaign at the Legendary difficulty level.

In order to acquire and utilize the Cyrtarachne’s Facade head armor for the Hunter class in Destiny 2 Lightfall, you must first complete the Lightfall campaign with the Hunter class. However, don’t worry as you are not bound to complete the campaign solo or, in one attempt. You can take your time to properly finish the campaign with the Hunter class and obtain the exotic armor for your own.
What does Cyrtarachne’s Facade do?
Cyrtarachne’s Facade is a Hunter-exclusive exotic head armor that grants Threadrunners with Strand subclass a more powerful grapple. If you wear this item, every time you use your grapple, you’ll be given Woven Mail.
The Woven Mail is a brand new Strand ability that gives you a layer of armor and sponges some damage. In addition to damage sponging, it also reduces the flinching effect when hit, making it a must-have.
However, this armor isn’t much effective in PvP situations, as Woven Mail doesn’t cover the head. As a result, you’ll be left protection-less even after wearing a helmet.
