And for today, you’re here asking us about all the locations of the Guiding Light Favor, so grab your controllers, and let’s finish this Side Quest!
Guiding Light Favor
Once you begin the Word of Fate main quest in God of War: Ragnarok, you can come across this Favor anytime you want when you’re in the Lake of Nine region. You can also start off the Guiding Light Favor while you’re taking on other Side Quests in this region such as Animal Instincts and Sigrun’s Curse.
- To trigger the Side Quest, you must interact with any broken armor scattered around Lake of Nine. You can find these armor in any order you like, free to roam around the area, warriors!
Spear from Tyr’s Statue
- You can trigger the quest and find this armor piece when you see the Spear, on the east of Raider Stronghold. In case you’re wondering where it is, you have encountered this area during the Animal Instincts Favor.
- There should be a glowing item on the ground. Interact with it and get a crafting component called Whispering Slabs. Then, interact with the Spear from Tyr’s Statue to get Jotuheim’s Essence that you can equip in your Amulet.
Left Bracer near Raider Fort
- You’re now off to find the armor pieces in the Lake of Nine. Moreover, one armor piece should be located the closest to the Mystic Gateway with a Shop. It is near the first Kol Raider camp you found. Interact with the bracer to complete two out of the four armors needed.
- The armor is close to the Raider Fort which is located in the middle of the area. Also, you should pick up the glowing item in the snow. Kratos acquires the wrist armor called Gauntlets of Guiding Light.
Right Bracer at The Oarsmen
- Hop on the sled once again, and we’ll tell you where the right bracer is. The best way to find the locations of these armor pieces is by tracking the Favor in your Goals tab.
- You’ll find yourself in an area called Shores of Nine. Kratos lifts up a rock to let them pass and continue exploring until you reach The Oarsmen region.
- On your right, Kratos should pass on a hollow way to reach that other side. Although be careful because once you get to the other side, there is a high chance some enemies are waiting until they can spring an attack on you.
- Kratos needs to defeat these enemies before he can interact with another broken armor piece.
- After clearing the area of the enemies, you’ll see vines covering one part of a fallen structure. Kratos should use his Blades of Chaos to burn the vines down to read the hidden rune.
- Don’t forget to pick up the item in the snow to get the Waist Guard of Guiding Light!
Helmet at Shores of Nine
- For the last Guiding Light Favor location in the God of War: Ragnarok, you can easily spot this in the Shores of Nine. Before you leave the area, the last piece of Tyr’s armor will be just in front of you.
- You can hop on your sled or just run to it, either you just have to go straightly to it. Once you get near, read the rune. Simultaneously, that marks the completion of the Guiding Light Favor.
- Oh, don’t miss out on the item in the snow! If this is your last location, then you finally completed the Guiding Light Armor Set!
