Genshin Impact: Will There Be A Valentine’s Day Event?

With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, many Genshin Impact players wonder if there’ll be an in-game event to commemorate it. MiHoYo has made updates of its games depending on the seasons. However, Valentine’s Day has not been one of those days.

Announcements often trail events a few weeks in advance to build hype for it. There have been no teasers or anything involving Valentine’s this year. It follows a trend of no in-game event for the day of love.

While it may be disappointing to find that there’s no fan service on the horizon, MiHoYo did something last year that they might replicate.

Last Valentine’s Day 2021, they released two artworks featuring Ganyu and Keqing offering chocolates. It follows the Japanese tradition of women giving chocolates to the special people in their life.

Fans are now speculating which of the characters will have artwork. Some are pointing to newer characters like Ayaka or Eula. Others hope that some of the original characters get their chance to shine in Valentine’s spotlight.
