Genshin Impact 2.6 brings lots of new content for travelers to enjoy. Among these are brand new world quests that offer a deeper look into the story behind The Chasm. In this guide, we will be telling you how to unlock and complete the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering quest.
How to unlock Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering quest
For travelers to unlock this quest, you need to talk to Muning. This NPC can be found in the Glaze Peak area. Moreover, you first encounter Muning when you enter The Chasm for the first time and you’re directed by the Millelith over to him. In our previous guide on how to unlock The Chasm, we gave a brief overview on how to start quests in The Chasm.
After speaking with Muning, he will point you towards Zhiqiong, one of the adventurers assigned at The Chasm. You can find Zhiqiong near the first Bedrock Key where she will explain how these mechanisms work. Moreover, you learn how these Bedrock Keys seal off the Underground Mines.
Retrieve the Lumenstone from the unguarded warehouse
But before you can start using these Bedrock Keys, Zhiqiong has you get the Lumenstone Adjuvant from the warehouse nearby. Prepare yourself as there are already Treasure Hoarders trying to ransack the unguarded warehouse. Once you defeat them, head inside and get the stone that looks similar to a Noctilucous Jade.
Finally, you can head back to Zhiqiong and you can start destroying the first Bedrock Key nearby.
Destroying Bedrock Keys
For you to successfully destroy these mechanisms, you need to obtain Geogranas located nearby.
Insert the Geograna inside the cage-like Geo formations and melee attack it to shoot at the Bedrock Key.
Bedrock Key Locations
After you destroy the first Bedrock Key, Zhiqiong will mark the other locations of these Bedrock Keys on your map. For you to easily access these locations, it’s recommended that you unlock the Statue of the Seven and teleport waypoints in the area first.
Final Bedrock Key Location
The final Bedrock Key is located underground. Jump from the Statue of the Seven and glide down the crevices of The Chasm so you can reach this area. Once you’re there, make sure you don’t brush past the exploding Geo-fused stones in the area so you won’t take damage.
Jump down into the mine and you’ll immediately see the Bedrock Key. But be careful since there are waves of enemies trying to stop you from destroy this mechanism. If you don’t want to fight against them, focus on attacking the Bedrock Key. This is easy since there are only two Geo cages for this Key.
Rewards for completing the Surreptitious Seven-Star Sundering quest
You get 50 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wit, and 400 EXP upon completing the quest. Additionally, you get the achievement “When The Seal Is Broken…”
