After leaks and speculations surrounding her character, HoYoverse confirmed Kuki Shinobu last month. Reliable leakers speculate that Arataki Itto’s sidekick is coming in the next update. In this guide, we’ll be giving you the materials Kuki Shinobu needs so you can level her up.
Who is Kuki Shinobu in Genshin Impact?
Kuki Shinobu will be a four-star Electro character. Before this announcement, the game only mentioned her through other characters’ voice lines. Moreover, she’s also known as Arataki Gang’s Deputy Leader.
If you’re not familiar with the Arataki Gang, it’s Itto’s squad and Kuki sounds like she’s his sidekick. But her connections extend beyond Inazuma because in Yanfei’s voice line about her, she mentions studying law in Liyue with Kuki Shinobu.
Ascension and Talent Materials
Listed below are the materials Kuki Shinobu needs to Ascend and improve her Talents. However, these are still based on rumors until Genshin Impact officially releases her. So like with other leaks, take this with a grain of salt and wait until Genshin Impact officially makes her playable.
Kuki Shinobu’s materials can be found both in The Chasm and Inazuma.
Ascension Materials
Vajrada Amethyst (Electro Gems)
You can obtain these after defeating Electro bosses. For you to easily farm materials needed by Kuki Shinobu, we suggest focusing on the region of Inazuma. If you don’t want to travel too far, defeat the Thunder Manifestation located at Amakumo Peak.
But if you find yourself in Mondstadt, you can always fight against the Electro Hypostasis located near Cape Oath. Kuki Shinobu needs 1 Vajrada Amethyst Sliver, 9 Vajrada Amethyst Fragment, 9 Vajrada Amethyst Chunk, and 6 Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone.
Naku Weed
Ascending Kuki Shinobu to Lvl. 90 requires 168 Naku Weed. However, you can only farm 129 Naku Weed. Afterwards, you have to wait 48 hours for the item to refresh in the world.
However, you can purchase some from an Inazuman NPC named Aoi. Moreover, you can grow up to 8 Naku Weed in your Serenitea Pot.
Spectral Parts
You can obtain these after defeating Specters most commonly located in Inazuma. However, you need to collect three types of these Spectral Parts: Spectral Husk, Spectral Heart, and Spectral Nucleus.
To get Kuki to Lvl. 90, you will need the following numbers of Spectral parts according to their type:
- 18 Spectral Husk
- 30 Spectral Heart
- 36 Spectral Nucleus
Runic Fang
To fully ascend Kuki Shinobu to Lvl. 90, you will need 46 Runic Fangs. You can get this item after defeating the Ruin Serpent in The Chasm.
Mora
For ascending her, you need 420,000 Mora alone to get her to Lvl. 90.

Spectral Parts
- 18 Spectral Husk
- 30 Spectral Heart
- 36 Spectral Nucleus
Elegance Book Set
As for Kuki Shinobu’s talent level-up materials, you can get them from the Violet Court domain. This domain is located in Inazuma, south of Amakane Island.
However, you can only obtain the books on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Tears of the Calamitous God
Challenge the Raiden Shogun to obtain this special Talent Level-up material. Her domain is located beneath the Grand Narukami Shrine. You will need 18 Tears of the Calamitous God if you want to crown Kuki Shinobu.
Mora
Aside from 3 Crowns of Insight, you need nearly 5,000,000 Mora to get her Talents to Lvl. 10.
