Genshin Impact version 2.1 was launched just a month ago, and we already have some incredible information regarding version 2.2. Fans are always so excited about what’s coming next, that they push themselves to find unrevealed information. What we have for you today, is some information born out of speculations and rumors. Thoma
Before getting to the main leak, let us first give you some amazing news. Thoma, a long-awaited character is all set to appear in Genshin Impact 2.2 as a playable character. According to a few sources, he might even be available sometime around the end of version 2.1. Thoma would be a new 4-star character from the region of Inazuma. He is a young man with short, messy blond hair, and green eyes wearing a black metal headband with gold accents.
His constellation is Rubeum Scutum and he is affiliation is towards the Kamisato Clan. He is a powerful Pyro Polearm character who possesses an incredible Elemental Burst. Thoma can provide great shields and inflict Pyro damage on enemies, even when he is off the field. There is a Pyro Vision is attached to his belt.
Hangout Event for Thoma and Sayu
According to a leak, by @genshinBLANK, hangout events will be arriving for Thoma and Sayu. They are expected to hit the game in version 2.2 near Thoma’s release. From the above section, you are now aware of Thoma, who is actually a fan favorite. You might already know Sayu. As he is already an available 4-star character from Inazuma.

Like the hangout system previously featured in Mondstadt and Liyue, these events will add new side stories for you to explore. Also, they will provide tons of rewards including the most precious currency in the game, Primogems. So, trust us, you don’t want to miss them out when they release!
In case you’ve missed out on previous hangout events, they are all still available. You can access them through the Story Quest menu because they are currently permanently available. They include the events for Noelle, Chongyun, Bennett, Diona, and Barbara. You can get to know these characters more and explore them more as well.
