Though Genshin Impact has only received its update 2.2, we have already been treated to what is about to come next with update 2.3. We know from leaks that Albedo, Itto, and Gorou will be part of the banners in the next update. In addition to the rumors about the characters themselves, the Ascension Materials of Itto and Gorou have also been leaked.

The Genshin Impact update 2.3 leaks include the entire kits of the characters. While some of the Ascension materials for Itto and Gorou are similar, most of the materials required are unique to each of them. Players can also acquire these materials before the launch of update 2.3.
GOROU ASCENSION MATERIALS
According to leaks, Gorou will be a 4-star character. The Ascension materials required for Gorou to reach max level are:
- 1x Prithiva Topaz Sliver
- 9x Prithiva Topaz Fragment
- 9x Prithiva Topaz Chunk
- 6x Prithiva Topaz Gemstone
- 46x Perpetual Heart
- 168x Sango Pearls
- 18x Spectral Husk
- 30x Spectral Heart
- 36x Spectral Nucleus
- 420,000 Mora
All of the Ascension materials are available even now in the game. You can find spectral items in Watatsumi and Seirai Island. Sango Pearls can also be found at Watatsumi Island. The Perpetual Heart is available through the Perpetual Mechanical Array. You can get Prithiva Topaz in the Wolf of the North Challenge, Geo Hypostasis, or the Primo Geovishap.
Gorou will need the following items for Talent Ascension.
- 3x Teachings of Light
- 21x Guides to Light
- 38x Philosophies of Light
- 6x Spectral Husk
- 22x Spectral Heart
- 31x Spectral Nucleus
- 6x Molten Moments
- 1x Crown of Insight
- 1,652,000 Mora
You may find light materials at the Violet Court on specific days, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
ITTO ASCENSION MATERIALS
Itto will need the following to reach max level:
- 1x Prithiva Topaz Sliver
- 9x Prithiva Topaz Fragment
- 9x Prithiva Topaz Chunk
- 6x Prithiva Topaz Gemstone
- 46x Riftborn Regalia
- 168x Onikabuto
- 18x Slime Condensate
- 30x Slime Secretions
- 36x Slime Concentrate
- 420,000 Mora
While the Onikabuto can be found on most islands in Inazuma, Slime materials can be found throughout the Teyvat territory. However, you can only get Riftborn Regalia when the new update releases, from a boss character, Golden Wolford.
Itto will need the following items for Talent Ascension.
- 3x Teachings of Elegance
- 21x Guides to Elegance
- 38x Philosophies of Elegance
- 6x Slime Condensate
- 22x Slime Secretions
- 31x Slime Concentrate
- 6x Ashen Heart
- 1x Crown of Insight
- 1,652,000 Mora
Elegance material can be found in the Violet Court on specific days, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Ashen Hearts can be obtained from the Signora boss battle.
