Beidou is a 4-star Electro character in Genshin Impact. Aside from being the captain of The Crux, Beidou is definitely as tough as she looks since you can use her for DMG roles. But she won’t be as effective without the right build. So in this guide, we’ll give you the recommended Beidou build that’s most effective in Genshin Impact 2.6.
Best Beidou build as Main DPS or Sub-DPS
Beidou can fit one of the two roles as the DMG dealer on your team comp. However, you’ll have to find the right set of artifacts as well as weapons if you want her to be your Main or Sub-DPS.
Beidou as Main DPS
With this build, you’ll be depending on artifacts to maximize and strengthen Beidou’s DMG output. Additionally, this build gives an overall improvement to Beidou.
Recommended weapon
If you plan on having Beidou as the main DMG dealer on your team, it’s recommended you equip her with 5-star Claymore, Wolf’s Gravestone. But if you don’t have this weapon yet, you can settle for either a Serpent Spine or Prototype Archaic.
Recommended artifacts
For this build, you won’t be using a 4-pc set for Beidou. What you’ll be using are 2-pc Gladiator’s Finale and 2-pc Thundering Fury. This is because Gladiator’s Finale gives you an ATK +18% boost. Meanwhile, the Thundering Fury gives you an Electro DMG +15% boost.

Beidou as Sub-DPS
If you plan on using Beidou as your team’s sub-DPS, you can utilize both her Elemental Skill and Burst. Both of these skills allow Beidou to deal with strong Electro attacks while inflicting Electro state on enemies.
Recommended weapon
The most suitable weapon for Beidou as the team’s sub-DPS is the 5-star Claymore, Skyward Pride. But we all know that 5-star weapons are hard to get so you can always substitute this weapon with 4-star ones. Beidou can be equipped with the Luxurious Sea-Lord, Sacrificial Greatsword, or the Favonius Greatsword.
Recommended artifacts
Similar to the Main DPS build, we recommend the 2-pc Thundering Fury because of its Electro bonus. But as for the other 2-pc set, we recommend equipping her with Noblesse Oblige. This is because the set gives you an Elemental Burst DMG +20% boost.

If you want to maximize Beidou as a DMG dealer on your team, you need to find the best team comp for her. But do keep in mind that using Beidou’s Elemental Burst uses up a lot of her energy. So be sure to have an Electro battery on your team if you want to use her.

We highly suggest that you prioritize Beidou’s Elemental Burst and Skill. This is because she gets most of her DMG output from these two Talents. As for her Normal Attack, you can level it up after her Burst and Skill.
