There are Shrine of Depths scattered all over Teyvat. After unlocking Shrines, Travelers are rewarded with valuable treasure that can help them on their journey. Here are all Liyue Shrine of Depths locations in Genshin Impact.
All Shrine of Depths locations in Liyue
There are a total of ten Shrine of Depths located in Liyue. Getting to all of these won’t be easy since some are underground while some have Travelers climb great heights. Moreover, there may be enemies guarding some of the shrines.
We’ve marked all the locations for the Shrine of Depths in Liyue.

Location 1
Travelers can use the teleport waypoint to the north of Mingyun Village for the first location. Then, head northeast and you’ll easily find the shrine just by the lake.
Location 2
Moving on, this Shrine is located somewhere near the edge of Mondstadt and Liyue. To get here, Travelers can use the teleport waypoint in Stone Gate and climb the mountain to where the Shrine is.
Location 3
Travelers can use the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula domain for this location to teleport here. Then, start moving south. This Shrine is hidden in a small opening by the mountain’s base.
Location 4
After unlocking the third Shrine, Travelers can teleport using the waypoint at the farthest left of Bishui Plain. Then, make your way south to find this Shrine.
Location 5
For the fifth Shrine of Depths in Liyue, Travelers can teleport to a nearby area using the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern domain. After arriving there, just head south and follow the path to get to this Shrine.

Location 6
To get to this Shrine of Depths, use the teleport waypoint located southeast of Mt. Aozang. From there, start climbing the waypoint and you’ll find this Shrine in no time.
Location 7
Getting to this Shrine is relatively easy and quick. To quickly get to this location, use the teleport waypoint east of Nantianmen. Once you’re there, just jump and begin gliding. You’ll see the Shrine from a distance, so just guide your character there.
Location 8
For this location, use the teleport waypoint between Tianqiu Valley and Dunyu Ruins. Then, look to the east and start climbing the mountain to get to this Shrine quickly.
Location 9
To get to this Shrine, teleport to the waypoint located east of the Domain of the Wayward Path. Once you’re there, jump off and start gliding south to the lake. Here, you can begin following the lake as it goes into the mountain. You’ll see this Shrine as you follow the lake inside the mountain.
Location 10
And for the last Shrine of Depths in Liyue, players need to create an ice bridge or find a high place to jump off of. For the ice bridge method, players can use the Domain of Guyun as a teleport waypoint and start creating an ice bridge from there. On the other hand, Travelers can also use the ice bridge method by getting on the Pearl Galley.
Unlocking all the Shrine of Depths in Liyue will also reward Travelers with the Sanctuary Pilgrim achievement in Genshin Impact.

How to get keys to unlock Shrine of Depths in Liyue
Before Travelers can unlock these different Shrines scattered throughout Liyue, they should make sure they have the right amount of Keys. To get Keys, Travelers need to complete quests, clear domains for the first time, and ascend.
Here are the quests you need to finish in order to receive Liyue Shrine of Depths Keys:
- The Chi of Guyun – 1 Key
- The Tree Who Stands Alone – 1 Key
- Treasure Lost, Treasure Found – 1 Key
Moreover, you can also collect keys from finishing domains for the first time. Here are the domains you should clear first to get your Keys:
- Hidden Palace of Guizang Formula – 2 Keys
- Domain of Forsaken Ruin – 1 Key
- Domain of the Wayward Path – 1 Key
And finally, Travelers can get 3 Keys after Ascension 2 of their Adventure Rank.

What are these Keys in Genshin Impact?
Liyue Shrine of Depths Key is an Adventure Item in Genshin Impact. According to the in-game description of this item, it is a key “that can break the seal on the ancient Shrines of Depths scattered around Liyue. These Shrines of Depths sealed themselves off when the civilization that built them was lost.”
Other regions like Mondstadt and Inazuma also have their Shrines of Depths which can also be unlocked. Each region has 10 Shrines you can unlock if you have the right number of Keys.
However, these Shrines use different types of keys according to which region you are in.
It’s highly recommended for Travelers not to forget unlocking these Shrines of Depths since they give out high-tier loot every time the seal is broken. Aside from treasures like Level-Up Materials and Weapons, Travelers also get Primogems since they offer a Luxurious Chest for whoever gets to open it up.
