The latest update in Genshin Impact, the 2.2 update patch has only recently been released. However, new information has emerged in regard to the next update, 2.3. It may be too soon to see information regarding the next update. Even so, leaks have become quite common in recent times. We have also seen miHoYo take several measures to discourage leakers from engaging in data leaks, but it does not seem to have had much effect.
Twitter users @lumie_lumie and @Ubatcha1 have revealed new information about the banners of the upcoming update; heralding the arrival of the “Geo Trio”. The first banner will not be a new character, but a re-run of an existing character, Albedo.
Arataki Itto (5*) and Gorou (4*) will both be joining us on December 14th, as the second banner of 2.3.

Albedo Rerun
- The reference to Albedo was not direct. Still, leaker Tz had mentioned that evidence from leaked data references Albedo being featured in the story and events of the upcoming update.
- Notable, in update 2.2, Childe got a re-run due to the major role played by the character in the story. There are more events in reference to Albedo and a new story as well. So players expect a re-run of the character.

Aratakki Itto will be the second banner in update 2.3. Gooru will be featured as a 4-star character in the banner. It is estimated that the 2.3 update will go live on the 24th of November of miHoYo sticks to the six-week gap in-between update patches.
We will have to wait for miHoYo’s official announcement in a few weeks’ time in regard to the 2.3 update to confirm this information, but as with leaks in regard to Genshin, they are most likely to hold true.
