Genshin Impact 3.6 to reportedly receive TCG nerfs, new pet, region, and more

Genshin Impact is on its way to version 3.6, and new features will be introduced in the game like with every other patch. While some players are anticipating the additions, leakers are busy spilling information about it. A recent stream of leaks disclosed TCG nerfs, an upcoming pet, and snippets of a new region that will be added to the title. 

Genshin Impact leaks bring excitement to fans who wait patiently for newer content. Patch 3.6 will open up a portion of Sumeru for players to explore. Rumors about Xingqiu’s card getting nerfed in the TCG have also surfaced in the community.

Genius Invokation TCG to nerf Xingqiu and buff Kokomi

The following Reddit link records a massive nerf to Xingqiu’s card in TCG. Currently his Elemental Burst in TCG, Raincutter, deals 2 Hydro DMG to the opponent’s cards. When the nerf hits, he will deal 1 Hydro DMG, which is a massive reduction.

On the other hand, Kokomi will receive an unexpected buff to potentially become the strongest healer card in the game. Currently her Elemental Burst, Nereid’s Ascension, only heals characters when they cast normal attack. Her upcoming buff suggests that her ultimate will heal her entire squad when it is activated. 

A portion of the Genshin Impact playerbase loves TCG and they will be interested to see how these changes play out. Both the mentioned characters will have their usages as the gameplay itself is not dependent on a single card for the most part. 

New pet, region, and more

A well-known leaker on Twitter, timing!, shared what might become a new pet for travelers. It has been speculated that there will be some new mechanics that will allow this floating gadget to change its appearance.

The video has been shared by the same leaker and it can be seen that the pet looks slightly upgraded. On closer observation, it looks similar to Endora (obtained from the Wishful Drops event), that long standing Genshin Impact players should have in their inventory. 

More snippets from a reliable leaker on Reddit displayed a portion of the new area from Sumeru. It will be an extension of the desert region at the top left-hand side of the map. There will be underground mines, new world quests, domains, and more.

Lastly, timing! tweeted a video of a location from the new area of Genshin Impact 3.6. It will be the domain for the Weekly Boss that players will have to farm to acquire talent ascension material for future characters including Baizhu and Kaveh.
