It’s been a month since Genshin Impact version 2.2 was launched, which means it is time to gear up for version 2.3. The hype around the game is so much that we already covered plenty of leaks around the next major update. These included leaks about Arataki Itto and Gorou as well as Albedo rerun. Well, now it is time to make things official, and to do that, miHoYo will be holding a live stream on Friday. Here’s what we know about it.
Genshin Impact 2.3 Livestream

miHoYo took to Twitter to announce the Livestream which will be held on Genshin Impact’s official Twitch channel. This is nothing new as such kinds of live streaming events before update releases have been going on for a while. This particular stream will be held on Friday, 12th November at 4am PST / 7am PST / 12pm GMT. So, depending on your time zone, be ready for some exciting Genshin Impact news and reveals by miHoYo.
“The special program for Genshin Impact’s new version will premiere on the official Twitch channel on 12/11/2021 at 07:00 AM (UTC-5)”, tweeted @GenshinImpact.
Previously miHoYo teased new playable characters like Itto and Gorou and here they might officially showcase some gameplay videos. Also, as usual, there will be plenty of Genshin Impact codes throughout which help players progress faster. Rest assured, loads of new information about the popular game will be revealed on Friday. As for version 2.3, it will release sometime towards the end of November which might be confirmed in Friday’s event.
How to Watch the Livestream?
If you haven’t previously been a part of these live streams and want to attend this one, don’t worry. We are here to help you and tell you exactly how you’ll be able to view the Livestream. Just do the following:
- Open Twitch and create a free account
- Log in and open miHoYo’s official twitch channel
- Click on “Turn on Notifications” on miHoYo’s channel just to be safe
- Log in on 12th November 2021 at the above-mentioned time
- Watch the stream and keep tabs on the codes and free primogems being dropped during live stream
In case any of you miss the live stream, miHoYo always uploads an archive of it on Youtube. So, you can watch it whenever you get the chance but you won’t be able to timely enjoy the codes and primogems distributed by them.
