You may receive the “You do not have permission to play Fortnite” issue if your Epic Games account is linked to other accounts. A mismatch between accounts appears to be the source of the problem.
FIXES
| 1 | Log into the game and select Connected Accounts from the drop-down menu. |
| 2 | To link your Epic Games account, look over all of your options. Turn them off. |

| 4 | When you find the email, sign in and unlink from the Epic account you’ve forgotten about. |
| 5 | Connect to the Epic Games account you wish it to be associated with. |

Update Game
If you haven’t updated the game in a long time and are experiencing this problem, you should update your game patches. Because it’s most likely a server issue, and there’s also a problem preventing users from logging in, the Fortnite developer team will fix the problem with the current update.
