Fortnite x Star Wars? Darth Vader Coming, According to Leak

Star Wars is one of the most popular film franchises in history, and it features one of the most well-known villains of all time, Darth Vader. This film has given us pop culture icons like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia since its cinematic debut on May 25, 1977. Darth Vader has grown bigger than the franchise he represents, as portrayed by the late David Prowse and James Earl Jones.

Fortnite Crossovers

According to a tweet by iFireMonkey, the second monitor at Epic Games’ State of Unreal event, where it unveiled Unreal Engine 5, showed a Fortnite game folder with references to Family Guy, Doom, Indiana Jones, and even the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, hinting at possible future crossovers.

iFireMonkey Did It Again

In a tweet, 3D artist polaqwym zooms into the files and intentionally reveals a Darth Vader folder. This was captured by reliable leaker iFireMonkey and first spotted by 3D artist polaqwym in a tweet documenting the potential leak.

The folder “C3S3 Vader” is displayed alongside several other potentially intriguing files. The Star Wars series debuted in Fortnite in December 2019, so it’s no stranger to the construct-based combat royale.

Fortnite x Star Wars

Fortnite has worked with the Star Wars series before. During a Star Wars Fortnite event that debuted just before The Rise of Skywalker, the game memorably included Emperor Palpatine’s return. Since then, Epic Games has continued to add Star Wars content to the game. Some notable characters, Fennec Shand and Wookiee Krrsantan from the Book of Boba Fett are the most recent additions.
