By this time every gamer in the world who knows about Fortnite, also knows about the constant collaborations it does. That is one thing that always keeps fans excited about what’s coming next. From live-action cinema, anime, and other games to sportspersons and popstars, Fortnite has seen numerous collabs over the years. Now Fortnite will be seeing another collaboration with a very popular franchise, according to leaks. Here’s is what we know.
The One Enters Fortnite
The Matrix is making a cinematic return in the form of The Matrix Resurrection after 18 years and it’s a really big deal. In the trailer, Keanu Reeves’ Neo and Carrie Ann Moss’ Trinity make a return. Now The Matrix doesn’t actually need a lot of PR to pull audiences in, as it has such a great legacy. But that doesn’t mean it won’t do so. In fact, according to new leaks Matrix is making a crossover with Fortnite.
The leak comes from the reliable leaker HYPEX, who says that Neo and Trinity skins will be coming to Fortnite soon. “According to the same sources: A Fortnite x Matrix collab (Neo & Trinity) is planned for the second half of December,” tweeted @HYPEX.
As of now, that’s all we know about Fortnite and Matrix collaboration as no other information from any other sources is available. So, it’s best to take this information lightly but not ignore it because it is entirely possible and probable. Fortnite has too much lined up for next month and it might become a little hard to manage with Chapter 3 also coming in.
That said, even if there is to be a collaboration, it might just be a minor one and will arrive around the same time the movie will release. Matrix Resurrection releases on 22nd December and the speculated collaboration might launch then as well.
