What is the Birthday Cake quest in Fortnite?
Consuming a Birthday Cake is one of the quests added to Fortnite in its latest update. Unlike other limited-time events and collaborations, Fortnite is keeping things simple to celebrate its sixth year with the players. If you’ve played through the Birthday Quests in the previous years, you’ll know that Epic Games always gives out quests that are easy to complete.
One of these quests in Fortnite is the Birthday Cake quest. Similar to other consumables in the game, all you have to do is look for one and eat it. Aside from being one step closer to completing Fortnite’s Birthday Quests, you also gain 20,000 Experience Points once you eat the cake.
The only challenge is finding a nice cake to bite into. According to the task description, birthday cakes can be found in major points of interest (POIs) in Fortnite. As of Chapter 4 Season 4, here are some POIs you can check out.

How to Use Birthday Cake
It’s easy to spot the Birthday Cake even when you’re gliding in the air. As you get closer to the large cake, there are smaller slices on the ground encircling the cake. All you have to do is make your way over to these slices and consume them. If this is your first time eating the Birthday Cake in Fortnite, you will be rewarded 20,000 Experience Points and +10 to your Health and Shield.

There will also be birthday decorations near the cake, so be sure to interact with them. They are also part of the quests you need to complete if you want to collect the birthday rewards from Fortnite.
