“F**k them hand sign weaving Ninjas” Twitter disses Naruto fans with the reveal of new Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi game

A certain glittering had always swayed the ones who grew up looking at Goku go on adventures on his gravity-defying spaceship, training to beat the emperor of the universe. Yet despite their love, no one could come close to simulating it in real life. The only game that ever came close back then was the Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi game. And now that a new installment in this series has been announced, Dragonball Z fans are more than willing to diss the living hell out of Naruto fans.

Is a new Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi installment in the works?

  • During the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 on March 5th, Bandai Namco and Toei Animation announced the development of a new installment in the franchise, which has yet to be titled.
  • The reveal came in the form of a brief teaser trailer featuring Goku transforming into his Super Saiyan Blue form, which generated considerable excitement among the community.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi is a fighting game franchise created by Spike and based on the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama.

Dragonball Z fan disses Naruto fans over their weird Hand moving gestures

Comparable to Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi are Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Games. Which in their own right, have earned decent critical acclaim. Naruto Ninja Storm 4 is about one of the finest Anime-games ever produced.

But it is an established fact that Anime viewers have a certain dignified bias. One that they own proudly. “Of course, I think Berserk is better than Attack on Titan”, some would say.

While others, like this Twitter user down below, would claim that Dragonball Z is far superior to weird Anime based on hand movement-making Ninja shenanigans.

Twitter user @DeadMansRequiem took to Twitter to diss Naruto fans as the announcement for the new Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi installment was made.

Other Twitter users immediately followed the hype. As many began tweeting about how Dragonball Z Games are the ultimate rizz whereas Naruto Ninja Storms and such suck.

Why Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi has such a huge fan following

When the game first came out, it was about the only game which homed almost all the relevant characters from the franchise.

Pitting one character against another as players discovered the new movesets, combos. This coupled with the distancing of the usual Street Fighter dynamics of one on one fights, were about gifts from the gods.

As such, although the recent Dragonball Xenoverse Game series has been well received, it has got nothing on the OG.

Do Dragonball Z and Naruto fans ever go hand in hand?

But the tweet in itself has more to do with the series’ followings in general. It is very common to see people dissing each other’s choices in the Anime fandom.

The recent surges of Attack on Titan followings, for one example, have been utterly toxic to many people. Then there are others who hate the Demon Slayer fanbase, who are equally considered toxic.

Now due to the very nature of these groupings, it is difficult to judge whether the fanbases in themselves suck or not.

But as it goes on the Internet, nothing can be taken at face value. So let it slide, have a laugh, and move on about. Naruto fans, we got nothing to prove. (Although I equally consider myself a Dragonball Z fan).

Concluding

Today at the Fighter Z World Tournament finals, Dragon Ball fans were pleasantly surprised with the announcement of an upcoming Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi game. Namco Bandai Games published the Budokai Tenkaichi series under the Bandai name in Japan and Europe, and as Atari in North America and Australia between 2005 and 2007.

Atari’s involvement in the franchise ended in 2010 when its PAL distribution network was absorbed into Bandai Namco Partners, and Bandai Namco took over publishing for future Dragon Ball Z games in North America.
