Final Fantasy XIV will have a clothing line designed by the game’s creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy. sakaGUCCI, the creative’s clothing line, is the product of a solid season’s worth of work and investment in the title, which will get support for the following decade. What you’ve just read isn’t a silly joke, but the name Sakaguchi had in mind for his new creation.

I want me some sakaGUCCI 😄
You may question how Sakaguchi could have come up with his own clothing line in Final Fantasy XIV when you can’t customize your character’s outfits in the game. The mega-MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV does not allow players to design their own custom attire. However, anything that you produce and sell to other gamers carries your name and character ID. As a result, Sakaguchi’s outfit will have the “sakaGUCCI” label.
“We would appreciate it if you could prevent resale.”
Clothing prices vary based on the intricacy of their production and their material costs, according to Rock Paper Shotgun. Since the game was put back on sale for everyone yesterday, it’s safe to assume that a swarm of SakaGUCCI-loving players will want to get their hands on one. Sakaguchi, of course, has advised players not to auction their garments in the game market in order to avoid their valuable clothing from becoming an expensive collector’s item available only to a small number of users.

トレード会のその場で「武具投影」していただくと、アイテムはBINDされ、受け渡しや出品はできなくなります。より転売を防げるという意味でも、またその後の討伐ツアーを盛り上げるためにも、ぜひお願いいたします。 pic.twitter.com/Ds30FjAfEO— 坂口博信 (@auuo) January 24, 2022
