Is Fifth Harmony Reuniting? Ally Brooke Clears Reunion in Viral Tweet

Fifth Harmony has been on an indefinite hiatus since March 2018. Over five years have passed, and the girls are yet to grace one stage together. However, Ally Brooke has sent their followers into a frenzy after hinting at a possible reunion, though it’s now what people may think. She later clears the claim about it in a now-viral tweet.

Will Fifth Harmony Reunite?

Brooke seemingly hints at a possible reunion amongst the other Fifth Harmony members, Camila Cabello, Norma, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui, in an interview with E! News. In a broadcast, she said she “100 percent” sees herself reuniting with her former co-members in the future, adding, “We may be working on something.”

When asked if the 5H reunion would happen, the 30-year-old said, “sooner than we’d think.”

As expected, Brooke’s comments quickly spread like wildfire among the girl group’s fans. No one can blame them; their followers have been waiting for new music since they started pursuing their solo careers. Surely, after this interview has hit different media publications, the Harmonizers, the group’s fan base name, will be on the lookout.

So, to eliminate the confusion, Brooke later cleared her reunion statement in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Sure, she’s excited with all the support fans have shown when she has hinted at a possible get-together with other Fifth Harmony members. However, no reunion is going to happen anytime soon.

“I’m thrilled to see a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony,” she wrote. “Reunion has many meanings, and while there’s no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way.”

What Happened to Fifth Harmony?

Fifth Harmony is known for their hit songs Work from Home and Worth It, among others. The group was formed on The X Factor in 2012 and later signed a joint record deal with Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid’s labels, Syco Records and Epic Records, respectively. From there, they started releasing successful albums one after another.

But in 2018, they announced their decision to split up to “pursue solo endeavors” in a lengthy statement posted on X. The girls thanked everyone who had joined them on their “wild journey” as they made names for themselves on the international music scene. But to “stay authentic” to themselves and their fans, they needed to take some time off.

But despite the breakup, 5H has continuously supported each other’s careers. When Jane released her solo single, Ya Ya, Cabello liked and commented on her post on Instagram. Earlier this year, she also graced Jauregui’s launch party for her album, In Between, and showed her support for Brooke’s new single, Gone to Bed, on Instagram.

Does Fifth Harmony Still Have to Reunite?

Fans may have taken Brooke’s comments on her interview out of context, but it only shows how eager they are to see Fifth Harmony reunite after five years. Sure, several issues have surrounded their breakup, but their recent support for each other proves they’re now doing well. In fact, Brooke pointed out that their relationship is healing, so maybe a get-together will soon be on the cards.

To answer the question of whether Fifth Harmony still has to reunite, it’s a big yes. Brooke, Cabello, Norma, Jane, and Jauregui became famous because of this group and their fans’ support. So, it may only be fitting that they treat Harmonizers with their reunion.
