Fixes:
Restart the router
You should begin by rebooting your router. This will clear the temp data and flush the DNS, which could be the source of the problem.
Unplug and turn off your router. Before plugging it back in, give it a minute to cool off. Then, to restart the router, hit the power button.
Allow Final Fantasy to pass through the firewalls of your PC and router
Error 2002 might occur when the game’s internet connectivity is blocked by Windows or the router’s firewall.
In the Start Menu’s search box, type Defender Firewall and choose Windows Defender Firewall as the best match option.
Allow an app or feature via Windows Defender Firewall in the pop-up window’s left sidebar.
Mark the checkbox for FFXIV’s main executable in the list of Installed programs that appears.
Restart your computer after pressing OK to save any changes.
Run the game after completing these instructions to see if the error still occurs. If it does, follow the instructions below to disable the router’s firewall.
Access the router settings on your computer. This can be done by typing your default gateway IP address into the address bar of your web browser.
Open the Command Prompt and run “ipconfig /all” to find your default gateway IP address. Enter the code. A list of several options and IP addresses will be displayed. Copy the IP address from the Default Gateway column and paste it into the address bar of your browser.
Fill up your router’s login credentials. You can find these written on your router. You can also receive the username and password for your router from your ISP. In the settings menu, look for the Firewall option. Save your modifications after turning off the ‘Firewall’ option.
To make the modifications take effect, restart your router and computer.
