Ubisoft is allowing new players to try out Far Cry 5 for free this weekend. Dubbed “Far Cry 5 Free Weekend”, you’ll be able to play the game for free for three days.
From May 29 to May 31, you will be able to access the full Far Cry 5 experience for free on PC. The best thing is, you can start pre-loading the game right now. The platform is Uplay, Ubisoft’s proprietary storefront.

- Start playing
Additionally, for a limited time, you can purchase Far Cry 5 for a 75% discount. Plus, if you decide to purchase the game after playing it through the free weekend, your progression will be saved and carried forward towards your purchased full-game.
This, however, means the game is not free-to-keep forever, like GTA 5. So, once the timing’s over, you won’t be able to play the game anymore unless to decide to purchase it.
