NCT’s Jaehyun has made another debut but this time, it’s his acting debut. Jaehyun made his acting debut in his first Korean Drama T.V series “Dear.M” in which he is also part of the male protagonist of the show.
His character is named Cha Min-ho, a playful second-year college student that has a passion and skills for app development.
Fans especially the NCTzens had been waiting for “Dear.M” to be released for more than a year because of the delay. But now, Dear.M is finally here.
With the fans’ warm welcome and support for NCT’s Jaehyun acting debut, the phrase “WELCOME ACTOR JAEHYUN” became one of the trending topics on Twitter today.
Dear.M was held on delay
Dear.M’s original premiere date was on February 26, 2021, on KBS. But it was put on hold after the bullying allegations have arisen against Park Hye-Soo, the female protagonist of the show. Only days before the show’s release.
With the ongoing issue at that time, the production team of KBS has released a statement saying they have decided to delay the drama and reschedule it.
On March 7, 2021, the actress released an apology letter addressing and denying the allegations. She stated that she was the one who got bullied and her agency’s statement claimed the allegations against her were not true.
Until then, the show’s release date became uncertain.
After being held on delay for a year
Good news came to the fans last March 24, a report says that KBS has signed a broadcasting rights contract for Dear.M to be aired in Japan and different countries.
And now, Dear.M is available to watch in Viki for free with episodes 1-6. While episodes 7-12 are set to release next week, July 6.

Dear.M may have taken some time to be released but the fans have always been anticipating the show. It’s also good to know that it’s finally airing after all the hard work everyone on the team has put into making this drama.
