March 10, 2022 – The “Scary Hours” Brooklyn Nets visited the 76ers in Philadelphia.
Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Seth Curry spoiled James Harden’s revenge game against the Nets. The 76ers took a massive defeat, losing by 29 points from the Nets (129-100).
Durant is still playing at an MVP level while Kyrie and Seth were extremely reliable scoring options during that contest.

KD, Irving, and Curry combined for 71 of Brooklyn’s 129 total points. Durant was everywhere on the court, leading the team with 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists. Irving also added 22 points last night, following an impressive 50-point game against Charlotte Hornets in their previous outing. Additionally, Seth Curry tallied 24 huge points while shooting an efficient 10 for 14.
This was also a record-breaking game for James Harden as he passes Reggie Miller as the 3rd in All-Time 3-pointers made.
Though it’s a historic night for the Beard, both he and Joel Embiid were having the “hot-garbage” curse. Harden was unbelievably quiet that game, scoring only 11 points.

He only made 3 out of his 17 shot attempts. Embiid had 27 points, but he also had the same shooting slump, making only 29% of his shots.
This game marks their first loss as a duo since teaming up after the All-Star break.
Could it be that the Harden/Embiid duo’s kryptonite is the Durant-led Brooklyn Nets?
- Before the game even started, Ben Simmons was welcomed in the Wells Fargo Center with loud boos and trash talk from the Sixers fans. We all knew the bad blood between Simmons and the Sixers organization in the past.
- Ben was still listed as out due to back problems. Brooklyn is definitely unstoppable when they are healthy. The talent this club has is unfathomable and is terrifyingly good.
