To use the Prism, Early Access Beta players had to obtain it by killing Ashava. He is the weekly World Boss from the Fractured Peaks region of the Diablo 4 world. It is safe to assume that the featured World Boss from every region should drop these prisms deeper into the game.
The Diablo 4 servers were open for a limited time during the Beta, so it should be noted that the information is limited. Scattered Prism usage
Sockets are important in Diablo games to attach add-ons to a piece of armor or a weapon. For the most part, Sockets come preinstalled with your gear drops. In case the equipment is missing the necessary slot, follow the method below.
- Upon acquiring the Scattered Prism and sufficient gold you need to search for a Jeweler.
- One of them can be found near the Rings of Amulet merchant in the town of Kyovashad.
- Head over to the Jeweler and interact to open a menu.
- Under the Jeweler screen, find the Add Socket option at the top.
- Now drag your item on the receiving slot and click on the on the add button to successfully complete the process.
- Make sure that your character is level 20 to unlock the feature.
There is no other use of Scattered Prism in the current state of the game. Players will have to put their time and effort into farming them as it is a valuable rare drop.
