Bungie, the video game company that gave us the Destiny series is all set to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The anniversary was back in May. However, the studio is celebrating in the month of December, before the end of the year.
To mark its celebration, Destiny 2’s 30th Anniversary Pack will be out on the 7th of December. As a part of the This Week at Bungie blog post, Bungie revealed a preview of Destiny’s Anniversary Pack update.
PHOTOSENSITIVITY CHANGES
- A whole lot of Photosensitivity changes are a part of the new update. They will bring changes in the vast array of visual effects.
- This includes a reduction in contrast, brightness, the frequencies of explosions, weapon flashes, and particle effects.
- Players expect the visual experience of the game to improve. However, people with photosensitivity are the primary targets of these changes.
In addition, the Blind Well event will also experience changes. They will also add a range of bug fixes and balance adjustments. This will allow players to quickly complete activities with lesser complete wipes. When hit by lightning from a Dunemarchers Titan Punch, a cooldown will occur. Further, you may now cancel the Icefall Mantle’s stasis overshield.
EXOTIC ORNAMENTS
However, the biggest change is that Exotic Ornaments can be viewed when examining n Exotic Weapon or Armor. Players will still have to buy Ornaments from the Eververse Trading Company. However, the inventory menu can be used to purchase them directly. Weapon Ornaments can be purchased from the weapon’s Inspect interface. Similarly, Armor can be bought from Inspect interface or the Guardian Appearance menu.
Additional hotfixes may arrive if they are applicable. However, no major changes will come until The Witch Queen expansion in February. This may be why this update is a heavy one that contains changes and fixes.
