Demon’s Souls Remake for PS5 is one of the most anticipated games of this fall, launching specifically on Sony’s new console. Even though we have heard or seen very little of the game as of this writing, it seems like we won’t have to wait much longer to get our hands on the game.

According to a popular Dark Souls Veteran Lance McDonald, the upcoming Demon’s Souls on PS5 went gold on September 24th. This means that the game is ready for manufacturing and won’t undergo any further delays. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen or heard of any such confirmation from Sony’s side so this should be taken with a grain of salt. Meanwhile, other PS5 launch titles including Godfall and Spider-Man Miles Morales went gold on September 24 and October 9 respectively.
Demon’s Souls PS5 is the remake of FromSoftware’s 2009 PS3 exclusive Demon’s Souls, a title that went on to crave a whole new genre with the likes of Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro. FromSoftware has their knees dipped in the development of their next big action RPG Elden Ring which is still pretty far from release, hence this upcoming recreation of Demon’s Souls on PS5 from Bluepoint games seems like a perfect appetizer for what’s next to come from the deeply beloved studio.
Demon’s Souls Remake launches exclusively for the PS5 on November 12, 2020.
