More than a year after the verdict, Zack Snyder opened up about his thoughts on the controversial actress in a recent interview. The Rebel Moon director said that he does not understand the online backlash against Amber Heard and that he would still work with her ‘in a second’ even if other people don’t want to.
Notably, Snyder introduced Heard to the DC universe as Mera, the princess of Xebel and Aquaman AKA Arthur Curry’s love interest in the movies. She went on to play the role in Justice League and both standalone Aquaman films including the upcoming sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

What shocked them more is that Snyder revealed that he still keeps in touch with most of his DC actors including Ezra Miller who played The Flash. Like Heard, Miller too has been a subject of major controversy due to his involvement in numerous public scandals and mental health struggles.
