Gamescom 2019 is getting closer. Through its social media channels, the Polish software house confirmed its presence at the Cologne videogame festival to show, once again, its latest creation still awaiting release on the shelves: Cyberpunk 2077.
According to what has been shown, among the stands present at the German fair, there will be an area where you can watch the closed-door rehearsals of what was announced as the new masterpiece of 2020. The demo in question, made with gameplay scenes, will be shown to a small circle of lucky ones among fans, journalists and sector employees.
Everything will be shown on four different occasions that will take place at Booth C049 of Gamescom Hall 6 from 21st to 24th August. During these days, a series of closed-door presentations for journalists, developers, and producers interested in the project will be scheduled at Stand C041 / D050 of Hall 4.1.
This year’s Gamescom will also serve as a springboard and stage for the first qualifying event of the official Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay contest. The event will be held Friday, August 23 and will see the participants compete for the title of best cosplayer of Cyberpunk 2077. The first podium will see the winner pocket $2,000, plus a guaranteed place in the final of the competition with the prize of $30,000.
We recall that the release of Cyberpunk 2077 is set for April 16, 2020, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
