Critics Choice Awards 2024: Tom Holland Snubbed By Steven Yeun | List Of Winners

Critics Choice Awards 2024 Tom Holland va Steven Yuen + all winners list

Hollywood is ready to celebrate the best releases of the past year with the Critics Choice Awards 2024. The 29th award ceremony is held on the heels of last week’s Golden Globes where Oppenheimer took home major awards snubbing box office success Barbie. The highest-grossing film of the year has 18 nominations at Critics Choice Awards but the fans are doubting the ceremony after Tom Holland was snubbed for his performance in The Crowded Room.

Tom Holland snubbed of Best Actor in Limited Series

The 27-year-old English actor was nominated in the “Best Actor in Limited Series or Movie Made for Television” category for his performance in The Crowded Room. The psychological thriller miniseries by Akiva Goldsman starred Holland as Danny Sullivan who was arrested after a New York City shooting in 1979.

Holland was immensely successful in keeping the audience on their edge as he unveiled his life story in a series of interviews with interrogator Rya Goodwin (Seyfried). Although the series failed to garner satisfactory reviews from critics it remained popular among the audience, who believed that Holland gave one of the best performances and deserved the appreciation.

However, the series was snubbed at the Critics Choice Awards as Steven Yeun won the category for his Netflix miniseries Beef, where he starred alongside comedian actor Ali Wong as strangers whose life gets intertwined in a prolonged feud after crossing with each other in a road rage incident.

The series remained popular among the critics and audiences throughout the year which is understandably reflected in the year-end awards.
