COVID-19: Total War: Shogun 2 Free To Keep Forever

Total War: SHOGUN 2

During these difficult times, people are resorting to video games to pass their free time. Sony has offered Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for free for a limited time for gamers stuck at home, willing to try out great games. In the same spirit, Sega has announced that they’re giving away Total War: Shogun 2 for free to keep forever starting today.

Anyone willing to get their hands on Total War: Shogun 2 can download and keep it for free from Monday, April 27, 18:00 BST to Friday, May 1, 18:00 BST. Download the game between the mentioned time period and you’re free to keep the game forever.

“The past few weeks have presented unimaginable challenges for many of us, but the remarkable collective effort being made by the global community to overcome this moment of adversity has been truly inspirational,” Sega writes about the offer.

There’s also a Total War sale coming up from April 27, 18:00 BST until Monday, May 4, 18:00 BST. This sale will not include Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, ROME: Total War main games and DLC packs, and Total War: WARHAMMER games.

Once the time period to get Total War: SHOGUN 2 for free is over, the game will be available to purchase for a discount of 75%.

This is a commendable effort by Sega and we hope many more developers/publishers try their best to keep their fans engaged during the lockdown.
