After a huge box office success, THE BATMAN left its fans asking – “Is there going to be a sequel to this beautiful movie?”
Before its release, critics were already assuming that the caped crusader’s reboot will become a flop. With almost $700 Million in gross income from the theaters, it’s safe to say that “The Batman” was a massive hit.
Bruce Wayne and his alter ego, Batman, were portrayed by a very versatile actor, Robert Pattinson. We all remember Robert as Edward Cullen from the Twilight Series and Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.
But, with his latest role as a superhero, Pattinson made quite the adjustment. He had a slightly different approach to the titular character which made it extremely fun to watch. Top that with stellar performances from Colin Farrell (Penguin) and Paul Dano (The Riddler). As a result, the film was highly rated by IMDB (8.2/10) and Rotten Tomatoes (85%).

Robert Pattinson’s Batman was getting high praises and was already being compared to Christian Bale’s Dark Knight. The Dark Knight became a trilogy with the last film grossing more than $1 Billion worldwide.
With all of that being said, is there really a possibility of “The Batman 2”?
You probably have seen the deleted scene from the film where “The Joker” (played by Barry Keoghan) was being introduced. That right there is already a hint that there is a high chance of a sequel.

This was also confirmed by Dylan Clark (The Batman’s producer) stating that Batman 2 is already being planned and could be on its way in a few years,
“I will go on record and say that it will be less than five years.”
Although Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed a release date or a confirmation of the said sequel, it’s very likely that it’s going to happen.
