So, you’re playing Remedy Entertainment’s new game Control. But you’re stumped on one of the game’s most head-scratching puzzles: unlocking the door to the mirror in the side-quest “Self-Reflection.”
Well, I’ve got just what you need: try this one!
First, I’ll give you a hint: check the monitors in the front of the room for a tip. If you still can’t figure it out, continue on and I’ll give you the exact solution.

These surveillance cameras show the order the doors should be in, not the order they are in.

Here’s how you should arrange the doors so the main door will open, unlocking the mirror. You can slide a door up or down by pressing the button next to it.
On the left side, starting with the door closest to the room’s entrance: down, down, up. So the door closest to the wall, furthest from the entrance, should be the only door you slide up. The screenshot below will show you how it should look when arranged properly.
Next, for the right side. Starting with the door closest to the room’s entrance: up, down, down. So the door closest to the room’s entrance, furthest from the wall, should be the only door you slide up. The screenshot below will show you how it should look when arranged properly.
Once you’ve arranged the doors correctly, the main door guarding the mirror will slide up, and you can go and cleanse the Object of Power! But beware: you’ll have to face a boss fight when you enter the mirror. It’s not especially challenging, and it depends more on your basic combat knowledge than any puzzles or gimmicks.
And that’s it! I hope this guide helped you get past this area in the game.
