The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) family is getting bigger by the day as the Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale is joining in. He is set to play Gorr the God Butcher in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder movie.

In his recent exclusive interview with Total Film Magazine, he said “You sort of go, ‘I know what he does’ It’s right there in the name isn’t it?”
The actor also said that he tried Googling but made a mistake since in the comics, Gorr the Butcher wears a G-string. He said Gorr the God Butcher runs around wearing a G-string.
He also revealed that does not have an idea of what the MCU is before joining and he even had to ask saying “I’m like, ‘The MCU?’ I had to ask what that was.”

Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth installment of Thor movies and is also part of phase 4 in the MCU. Taika Waititi returns to direct this new Thor movie as he previously directed Thor: Ragnarok back in 2017.
