Why did Chris Brown throw the Fan’s phone during the Concert?
While Chris is no stranger to giving his fans an unforgettable show, and he’s even been known to throw in a complimentary lap dance or two. But here’s the catch: He might be cool with getting close and personal with fans, but he’s not keen on trying to film the experience. Unfortunately, this fan had to learn this the hard way.
The singer brought the fan onstage during the performance of his 2007 hit song “Take You Down”. However, the girl was seen on her phone, presumably trying to record the experience.

At last, Chris couldn’t hold it anymore, as the girl wouldn’t get her phone off. During the concert, he forcefully took it out of her hands and flung it into the crowd.

Along with a recorded clip of the event posted to his Instagram story, Chris wrote, “F*** dat phone“, next to a laughing emoji. And also “Shawty got her phone back too“, in a subsequent post. Yes, it was later informed that the woman got her phone back. But it’s still unclear what condition it was in after soaring through the air.
A ton of fans on Twitter started splitting their opinions. Some of them support the act, and some are totally against it.
- Blames were placed on the woman for using the phone during the experience, saying “she deserved it”.
- “People really do not know how to be in the moment anymore,” one wrote. A second agreed, adding: “GIRL people were EVERYWHERE recording for you!!”
- Another one said: “I gotta defend him. He gently put it down at first, she was being lame.”
