Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to the boxing ring to fight MMA fighter John Gotti II. Unfortunately, the exhibition fight between Mayweather Jr. and Gotti III ended in a very chaotic way. The referee stopped the fight with just a minute left in the 6th round when suddenly, chaos broke out and both fighters’ camps were already inside the ring.
The official referee finally stops the fight after Mayweather and Gotti III won’t stop talking trash with each other
The fight’s referee, Kenny Bayless, put an end to the exhibition match because both fighters just can’t stop talking trash. Even in the weigh-in, they were already jawing at each other. Bayless disqualified Gotti for nonstop trash-talk as well as for holding violations. Despite the stoppage, the 32-year-old MMA fighter still wanted to fight Mayweather. A few moments later, pandemonium broke out inside the ring as the two erupted into a brawl. Both fighters were separated but they have already created massive chaos in Florida.

The said exhibition match is unscored and will not affect both fighters’ professional records. Floyd Mayweather Jr. retired from professional boxing with a 50-0 record while Gotti has an MMA record of 5-1 and a boxing stat of 2-0. However, Gotti III could receive repercussions for his actions in the ring.
The madness continued backstage after the Mayweather-Gotti III chaos
It seems that the chaos is brought even further to the vicinity of the Mayweather-Gotti III bout. John Gotti III’s father, John Gotti Jr. was spotted backstage in another erupting brawl with Mayweather’s entourage. Even more intriguing is that reality TV star and Puerto Rican personality Joseline Hernandez was also spotted fighting with another woman backstage. It was not revealed if Hernandez’s altercation with an unknown woman is connected to the boxing match or not. But, most definitely, this is a wild night for everyone in the building.

A few hours after the infamous fight, John Gotti III went to Instagram to continue talking trash about Mayweather
John Gotti III still hasn’t had enough of Mayweather Jr. The 30-year-old MMA fighter had a series of rare IG stories about his latest bout against the former boxing champion. One of his stories called out a retired boxer and called him a “punk bit-h” and declared him an “enemy for life”. Will this emerge into a future rematch?
Who is John Gotti III?
John Gotti III is of Italian descent and was named after his father and grandfather, who were both American gangsters representing the infamous Gambino crime family. The 30-year-old athlete started his career in MMA and has won 5 of his 6 bouts.
He just recently started fighting in boxing and already won both his first two fights. His most recent fight is against the legendary boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. Although that did not end well, it was reported that Mayweather could have won that fight if it was continued. That being said, John Gotti III is an up-and-coming fighter who may surprise everybody with his exciting brawl style.
