But, as she was about to begin singing, an unknown fan threw liquid on her face prompting a sudden reaction of Cardi B throwing the microphone at the fan. Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, known professionally as Cardi B, is definitely not one to be messed with. The famous American rapper has been known for her controversial songs and impeccable lyricism. But, just recently, Cardi B made the headlines not because of her new song “Jealousy”. During a weekend performance in Las Vegas, Cardi B got wet (literally) after a fan threw what seemed to be water while she was on stage. Unfortunately, it was a day that the fan will remember for the rest of her life. The 30-year-old Cardi B swiftly reacted to this attack and threw the microphone straight to the fan. The video went rounds on the internet and has been going viral.

Another video (as shown below) shows another angle of the incident. Don’t mind the caption, but as you can observe, Cardi did not hit the assailant. The security quickly handle the situation and escorted the fan away from the venue.

On her official Twitter account, Cardi B shared about her recent fan interaction. Her post says “WATER AND GAS INCLUDED…Literally” which could mean the liquid that was thrown at her consisted of water and gas mixture. The name of the female fan is still unknown.

Cardi B and microphones: The best weapon combination ever!
The night prior to the Las Vegas incident, Cardi B was spotted throwing the microphone to the DJ after her performance of her hit song “I Like It”. Nobody knows the real reason why the musician threw the mic toward the DJ. But, some online investigators believe that Cardi B got frustrated after the DJ keeps on cutting the track on multiple occasions. Cardi ended the show with a bunch of confetti and left the stage after throwing the mic.

In another situation, Cardi B used the microphone as a weapon last year. While she was performing at Wireless Festival in July 2022, Cardi jumped to the crowd while singing her 2018 smash hit “Bodak Yellow”. But, it does not end there as she relentlessly hit another fan with a microphone after they allegedly touch the performer. Despite that, the organizers and Cardi B said there no fights took place in the concert.
