Activision has announced that all Call of Duty servers will be offline tonight, starting at 2 a.m. PT and lasting roughly 30 minutes. All Call of Duty online services, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, will be down. The devs mentioned that gamers who are logged in during the server maintenance will be able to play, but may possibly encounter account issues or bugs. To minimize unnecessary complications on your main accounts, we recommend that you log out first. Those who have not yet logged in will have to wait till the repair is completed.
Call of Duty Server Maintenance / Downtime
Server downtime comes with Activision’s confirmation of the server troubles with Warzone 2.0. The community had been expressing dissatisfaction with this issue since the game’s release in 2022. Activision has not explicitly stated that today’s maintenance is to address the battle royale’s server troubles, but many fans are hopeful that major improvements will be observed once servers are restored.
Server Downtime Schedule:
- 2 AM – 4 AM PT May 3, 2023.
