Activision has increased their focus for the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. In other words, they’ve ‘invested significant dedicated resources and design time’.
In a recent earnings call, Activision President and COO Collister Johnson said this –
“… it’s a most important last point, which is that this is a game that’s not going to just build on our strengths. It will continue to push the envelope in innovation.”
“You’ll see that in the core game itself, where we have a number of new exciting developments to roll out very soon, but also in the game’s appeal on growth platforms like PC, where we’ve invested significant dedicated resources and design time to make sure we can deliver a great PC game to serve that community.”
We know that PC has never been the leading platform for many Call of Duty games. However, Activision is driving increased focus towards the platform. This might have something to do with Black Ops 4’s reported Battle Royale multiplayer mode.
Also, we’ll see the Pick 10 System making its comeback in Black Ops 4. The traditional perk system will remain in the game as well.
Activision is set to do a Black Ops 4 global reveal on 17th May.
