Bushiroad announced that Cardfight!! Vanguard will have a new video game titled CardFight!! Vanguard Dear Days. The game will also be released outside Japan with an English Version which means that the rest of the world can enjoy it as well.

Cardfight!! Vanguard is a multimedia franchise made possible by the collaboration of Akira Ito (Yugi-Oh! R card artist), Mitsuhisa Tamamura (Manga Creator), and Takaaki Kidani (Bushiroad President). The franchise currently has multiple anime and manga series, trading card games, and live-action films.
Bushiroad released the official TCG on the 16th of February 2010 in Japan while the English release was on the 5th of May 2010. In terms of video games, the franchise is not new to the industry. Cardfight!! Vanguard already has several video games, mostly on mobile platforms, with the latest one being Cardfight!! Vanguard Zero.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days
During the Bushiroad TCG Strategy Summer Presentation 2022 on the 15th of June 2022, the multimedia company announced that the franchise will be releasing a new game titled CardFight!! Vanguard Dear Days. The game will be available on Steam and Nintendo Switch this coming winter this year. (For reference, the winter months in Japan are during December, January, and February)
Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days will be the first digital game for the overDress anime series and will have its new original storyline. The main character of the game will be Yuki Ichido, and other characters are Rasen Ichodoji, Gosetsu Katsushika, and Kanji Meguro. Here are each character’s descriptions as described in the game.
Character List
- Yuki Ichido – A second-year student at Omi Gakuen High School. She has excellent grades, is versatile in sports, is strong, and has a straightforward personality. Having left her brother’s mark, she met Vanguard.
- Rasen Ichidoji – A third-year student attending Mimi Gakuen Secondary School. He has the opposite personality to his sister and is usually quiet. However, he has an unyielding heart. He awakens the hidden talent of Vanguard.
- Gosetsu Katsushika – Owner of “Paper Shop Fudaya Sakuragi”. It is a popular restaurant because of its good care and passion for Vanguard. He actually used to lead the largest team in the area.
- Kanji Meguro – The president who runs the nationwide shop “Berserk”. He is overwhelmingly charismatic and continues to be respected by everyone around him.
Other characters such as Yuyu, Danji, and Toya will also be available as players progress thru the game.
The game will have more than 1,000 types of awesome-looking cards for players to strategize with and some being only produced for the game.
