Britney Spears is about to release her much-awaited and now controversial memoir, The Woman in Me, in a few days. And with her latest revelations, the book has proven to be every inch a bombshell. The pop icon claims she and Justin Timberlake got pregnant when they were still together in the late ’90s to the early 2000s, but they opted to terminate the pregnancy.

Spears finally broke her silence and talked about their past romance in an excerpt from her memoir, as revealed by People. The 41-year-old said she became pregnant when she and her ex were still dating.

Though what happened was a surprise, she never saw it as a tragedy. “I loved Justin so much,” she said. “I always expected us to have a family together one day.”
However, she didn’t expect it to happen that early—at the heights of their career. She also claimed that Jessica Biel’s husband wasn’t happy with the news, explaining that they were too young and not ready to have a baby yet.
Hence, they came to the decision not to continue the pregnancy. But if Spears could only have her way, she stressed she would never have done it. “Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued.
Talking about her experience, Sam Asghari’s former wife revealed it was “one of the most agonizing things” she had ever experienced in her life until today.

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s Pregnancy Issue Explained
Spears’ latest claim about her and Timberlake’s romance came as a huge surprise to many. Sure, many doubt that something terrible might have happened between these two when they were still together, leading up to their split. But probably no one expects it to be this bad, let alone the involvement of an innocent child.
The claims that Timberlake was allegedly afraid of the revelations Spears would say about him in her memoir were probably true. After the recent backlash over his 20/20 interview about his former girlfriend, he might face another adverse reaction from fans and critics alike, especially after he seemed to put the blame on Spears for their split.

Spears’ The Woman in Me is scheduled for release on October 24. The book will entail her “incredible journey” after battling her 13-year conservatorship and more. And by the looks of it, there will be several big revelations to come. The Gallery Books press release says the memoir “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.”
The memoir’s release comes almost two years after Spears finally freed herself from her father, Jamie Spears grasp, allegedly controlling everything she does and says. The conservatorship even controlled her earnings and career. Now that Spears is free to do what she wants, she will tell her side of the story that nobody knows about. And by the looks of it, many have been waiting for this day to come, from her fans, critics, and even herself.
