After a series of stellar performances in the G-League, Isaiah Thomas gets a call from the Charlotte Hornets for a 10-day contract.
Thomas played for Grand Rapids Gold, the affiliate team of the Denver Nuggets in the G-League. Since returning to this league, he has been a complete monster and has been unstoppable.

He has averaged a whopping 41.3 points per game in the three games he played with the team. He was also very efficient on the floor, shooting 52.1% from the field and an amazing 42.5% from the arc.
Isaiah’s best year was during the 2016-2017 season, where he played for the Boston Celtics.
He was an All-Star that season and was a top 3 in MVP voting. During this time, he was averaging 29 points and 5.9 assists a game.

He and the Celtics made a deep playoff run that season. They reached the Eastern Conference finals but unfortunately faced their demise against the LeBron James-led Cavaliers. Standing at only 5 feet and 9 inches, Thomas was a beast back then and was fairly noticeable on the court due to his amazing performance.
But then, even after his fantastic performance in Boston, he was traded to the Cavaliers in exchange for Kyrie Irving.
Though he was injured at that time, the fans felt like Thomas was betrayed by the whole Celtics organization. Even after all he has done for the team.
Since that incident, the 33-year-old point guard has been bouncing around the league. He’s also been in and out of the league, too. Playing for different teams in the NBA and the G-League.
- His hard work in the G-League eventually paid off and we can see Isaiah Thomas back in an NBA team once again. He is here to show that he still got a lot of gas left in his tank.
- The Charlotte Hornets are trying to catch that sweet playoff spot. They are currently ninth in the East, and will likely play in the play-in tournament.
