Black Ops 4 Tops US Sales Chart In October; Outsells Red Dead Redemption 2

Black Ops 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, one of the most poorly rated (by users) COD games, topped the software sales chart in October in the States. The newest instalment in the COD franchise has outsold Red Dead Redemption 2 this month.

There is a simple conclusion to that. Black Ops 4 released on October 12th, while Red Dead Redemption 2 released on October 26th. While Black Ops 4 was received poorly by its fans, Red Dead Redemption 2 had a massive opening of 17 million copies sold in its first weekend, smashing a bigger opening than Avengers: Infinity War.

Black Ops 4 is currently the best-selling game of 2018, followed by Red Dead Redemption 2. The reports come from NPD Group, the period for October being November 3rd – October 7th.

Following the aforementioned, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, NBA 2K19 and Super Mario Party made their entries in the Top-5. Below is the list for the best-selling games of October –
