ASUS Showcases New Lineup of Professional and Gaming Displays at CES 2020

ASUS today showcased a new lineup of professional and gaming displays at CES 2020, including the ultra-portable ZenScreen MB16ACE and all-around solid TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A. The full lineup of displays unveils new innovations designed to provide premium visual experiences suitable for business travelers with the ZenScreen series, and hardcore gamers and entertainment fans with the TUF Gaming series. Joining the ASUS and ROG display lineup at CES 2020 is also the ROG Swift 360Hz G-SYNC monitor with an unparalleled 360Hz refresh rate, and the 4K HDR ROG Swift PG32UQX monitor powered by mini-LED technology.

ZenScreen is the perfect on-the-go companion for business travelers, with a 35% lighter smart case

The new ZenScreen MB16ACE is an incredibly portable 15.6-inch Full HD display that effectively doubles available workspace when using the monitor in conjunction with a typical 1080p laptop – perfect for business travelers looking to boost their productivity on the road. Thanks to its ultra-slim bezels, the entire monitor has a slim profile, and it weighs just 0.7kg (1.56 lbs) and comes in at just 8mm thick. In addition to being incredibly lightweight, the ZenScreen MB16ACE also comes with a new and improved Smart Case Lite, a new case that’s 35% lighter than the original, while still acting as both a protective cover for the screen and an adjustable stand. The Smart Case Lite can hold the ZenScreen in either portrait or landscape mode, or a smart pen hole built into the MB16ACE can prop the display up using any ordinary writing instrument.

The ZenScreen MB16ACE features an anti-glare IPS panel that is TUV Rheinland-certified for flicker-free operation at any brightness level. The MB16ACE’s low blue light technology also reduces eye strain for longer work sessions, and the screen itself is wrapped in a precision-crafted solid-aluminum unibody for a sleek and stylish look.

A single USB-C port supports DisplayPort alternate mode as well as USB 3.0 input sources. The included DisplayWidget software lets users tweak the properties of the ZenScreen from a companion laptop and can be configured to adjust display settings automatically, based on the application in use, as well as auto-rotate the display based on how it’s sitting.

Take advantage of unique ELMB Sync with TUF Gaming

The TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A caters to demanding gamers with an all-around combo of fresh styling, a high 165Hz refresh rate and incredibly low response time (1ms MPRT), IPS display for vivid colors and wide viewing angles, a GPU-friendly 2560×1440 resolution, and the unique ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) Sync technology from ASUS. The TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A also brings a fresh new look with a wider stand to keep the monitor stable and razor-thin bezels for immersive visuals while gaming.

With the TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A, the 1440p panel helps gamers strike the right balance between high-fidelity visuals and a high 165Hz refresh rate over a wide range of companion gaming PCs. Take full advantage of G-SYNC and ASUS ELMB Sync technology work together to provide a smooth, crisp, and tear-free gaming experience even when a game dips below 165FPS – ELMB Sync allows TUF Gaming displays to use our Extreme Low Motion Blur strobing backlight and variable-refresh-rate technologies like G-SYNC all at once for the smoothest gaming experience.

A host of exclusive features in the VG27AQL1A aim to give users full control over the display: GameVisual has six display presets to optimize visuals based on the game or application currently in use, while GamePlus adds persistent visual elements to the screen, like a crosshair or FPS counter, with just a few clicks of the display’s 5-way OSD joystick. The VG27AQL1A also features ASUS Eye Care technology, featuring a flicker-free backlight and low blue light technology to help prevent eye strain during longer gaming sessions.
