For the first time in an Assassin’s Creed game, players will have access to post-launch episodic content.
Season Pass owners will enjoy the privilege of two massive arcs, each consisting of three episodes. With the exclusive post-launch contents, Ubisoft wants to deliver a deep story-telling for players to explore beneath the story mode.
Legacy of The First Blade
In this episodic saga, you’ll “fight alongside the first hero to wield the iconic Hidden Blade while learning why the Assassins chose to fight from the shadows.” Bayek wasn’t the first assassin. Who was? Legacy of The First Blade withholds the answer.
The first episode of Legacy of The First Blade will arrive December, the second chapter will arrive 6 weeks later and so it goes for the third.
The Fate Of Atlantis
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will let you explore the secrets of the legendary sunken city Atlantis. Several godly creatures from the Greek Mythology will haunt you from the shadows as you unveil the mysteries of the place.
The Fate of Atlantis will be available Spring 2019 following the same 6 weeks pattern as Legacy of The First Blade.
Free Content for All
As a part of Ubisoft’s Free Content program, all Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players will get access to The Lost Tales of Greece. It will bring in free quest featuring new familiar faces and new characters from the world of Odyssey. The pattern for The Lost Tales of Greece is somewhat different. While you wait for another Legacy of The First Blade or The Fate of Atlantis episode, a new The Lost Tales of Greece episode will drop during the 6-week span.
Focusing on extensive post-launch content, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will also have recurring in-game events that’ll reward players with exotic gear. New gears will make an entry every week. Additionally, each week, new Epic Mercenaries of Epic Ships quests will appear resenting players with challenging battles.
Daily of weekly contracts will give players a currency to be spent at the Oikos of the Olympians merchant. Players can spend this currency to purchase rare and exotic gear as new inventory arrives every week.
